Community Grants
West Central Initiative's strategies help communities and the region increase their capacity to address priority needs and sustain their economic and social viability.
 
WCI does this through technical assistance, grant funding and development of local philanthropic resources, such as community component funds. WCI also undertakes a number of regionwide efforts that have impact on the viability of local communities.
 
WCI community grants include:
Capital Improvement Planning Grant
During 2013, up to seven communities will be selected to receive a matching grant to assist in the development of a Capital Improvement Plan for the community. The 2013 applications must be submitted by
5 p.m. June 30, 2013.

To help communities develop a partnership among concerned citizens and a shared vision to address critical community concerns

For support of community leadership programs
