WCI works with Minneapolis-based Valspar Corporation to provide paint, stain or other products for regional restoration and beautification projects. Local governments and nonprofit organizations in WCI's nine-county service area may apply.

Eligible applicants: 501(c)(3) nonprofit and units of government

Restrictions:

Amounts available: No initial limits are set on product amounts for any one project. Valspar determines each fiscal year the total amount of products they are able to grant on a statewide basis. Projects are awarded based on meeting the criteria as well as product availability.

Deadlines: Applications for 2013 are due March 4, 2013. Approved projects will be announced March 25.
