- Local manufacturers like Superior Industries of Morris, WestMor Industries and Wilken Industries have used Workforce 2020 Grants to enhance the skills of supervisors and employees and teach them new cost-effective strategies and techniques.
- The Morris Area Chamber of Commerce utilized a Leadership Development Grant to provide funding for the Morris Leadership Program.
- The City of Morris received a Community Organizing and Visioning Grant to support the work of the Minnesota Design Team to look at the future of Morris' central business district.
- La Tienda Grocery/Variety Store, which caters to the Latino population in the Morris area, used a Small Enterprise Loan to fund its start up.
