
WCI is pleased to announce two new members have joined the WCI Board, Jerry Arneson (at right) and Dan Ellison (left).
JERRY ARNESON
Jerry is an agriculture and commercial banker at State Bank & Trust in Moorhead, with 15 years of banking experience and more than 30 years experience in agriculture.
He is a director of the Clay County Fair Board, and is active in the Moorhead Youth Hockey Association as a coach and committee member.
His past leadership roles in Clay County included serving as an Agassiz Ambassador for the Red River Valley, and as a member of the Rural MN Concentrated Employment Program Workforce Council.
He is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a B.S. in Agronomy, Crop Production Management.
Jerry and his wife Cindy have two children and reside in Moorhead.
DAN ELLISON
For the past 30 years Dan has co-owned and operated Ellison Farm, Inc., a family farm, outside of Herman. In addition, he is the CEO of the Herman Development Corporation and serves on the board of managers of the Bois De Sioux Watershed District representing Grant County. Previously he was the economic development director for the Herman Development Corporation and the City of Herman for 20 years.
Dan is also very busy raising his son Spencer, a fifth grader at the Herman/Norcross School, who is active is sports and 4H.
"We are so fortunate to have both Dan and Jerry on our board. Their expertise, knowledge and the leadership they have demonstrated in their respective communities and counties will be a real asset for WCI," said WCI President Nancy Straw. "They are wonderful representatives of the region!"
