Nonprofits: Social Media Workshops Just for You!

Posted By Sheri Holm, Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Hey, west central Minnesota nonprofits: Have you wondered how to best utilize social media for your organization? Have you struggled to even know where to start? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then this year's Nonprofit Essentials series is just for you.

West Central Initiative, Alexandria Technical & Community College Customized Training, The United Ways of Douglas & Pope, and Otter Tail Counties, Bremer Bank and Lakes Country Service Cooperative are teaming up with local social media guru Tim Litt to provide FOUR hands-on workshops in two locations: Fergus Falls and Alexandria.

Nonprofits will learn the ins and outs of Facebook, Twitter, Google, Linked-In and YouTube. By the end of the series, you will have these social media accounts and know how to use them to promote and further the mission of your organization!

Check out the attached flyer for more information, or call the United Way of Douglas & Pope Counties at 320-834-7800, or Holly Witt, Nonprofit Resource Specialist, Bremer, at 320-589-1424.

The first training session starts March 28, so register soon at 320-834-7800.
