Okay, it wasn't the visit that won the award.  The four directors of the Community Action Partnership agencies that serve west central Minnesota stopped by WCI's April board meeting to present us with a plaque for our part in the award-winning West Central Leadership Academy.

Here it is:

The directors, Davis Leino-Mills and Leah Pigatti--MAHUBE-Otter Tail-Wadena Community Action, Steve Nagle--West Central Area Communities Action, and Joe Pederson--Lakes & Prairies Community Action, had some great things to say about our partnership with the CAPs. Along with the academy, we work together on the Family Economic Success Council to help bridge the barriers that keep families with lower incomes from thriving and succeeding.
