These funds are established by donors who
wish to support one or more specific organizations. Because
the income (and in some
instances the principal) from the fund may only be used for
the purposes specified, designated funds provide an ongoing
source of funding for a particular agency.
WCI will ensure
that disbursements are made to appropriate charitable agencies
as specified in the document establishing
the fund. If
a recipient changes its mission or ceases to exist, WCI's Board
can choose another recipient to carry on the original intent
of the donor. |
