Donors who want to support a particular area of
interest such as education, the arts, aging or community development,
but not a specific agency, can choose to establish a field of
interest fund. These funds focus charitable grants on issues
of personal concern.
Field of interest funds will insure that the donor’s
personal concerns will be supported even after death. A variety
of agencies or non-profit groups could all be participating in
the same issue, like children’s health. Grant requests
will be reviewed by the advisory group set up by the fund. WCI
will distribute and administer the grants. |
