WCI offers a very special giving opportunity
where donors may establish scholarship funds to benefit both
high school and college students.
Some donors choose to stay involved through an advisory relationship,
while others name advisory committees to assist in the selection
of recipients. Either way, WCI handles the necessary paperwork
and ensures that scholarships and grants are distributed
in an equitable manner.
Scholarship funds are distributed to the
school of attendance. This policy assures that the donor receives
full tax deductibility
allowed by law. Students don’t receive the scholarship
directly so they don’t have to pay income tax on the
gift. |
