Many citizens have joined together
within a community to raise funds for community projects. These
community funds are held
by WCI and distributed according to the guidelines set up
by the advisory committees of each community. Some non-profit
agencies have established funds designated for the work of
their group. These community and agency funds are part, or
a component, of the total operation of WCI. As a group, they
are called component funds.
Component funds allow advisor
committees to focus on the charitable need and leave the administrative
tasks to WCI.
This partnership
ensures that local needs are met and all financial transactions
meet state and federal guidelines.
The following list identifies
most of WCI’s component funds,
except those that have requested to remain anonymous. The
list includes business funds, family trust funds, community-based
funds, and some organizational funds. Click

fund list. |
