Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is a Certified Development Company authorized by the U.S. Small Business Administration to originate and service SBA 504 loans. The Center for Small Towns is a community outreach program housed at the University of Minnesota, Morris (UMM) and serves as a point-of-entry to the resources of the University of Minnesota. The West Central MN Housing Partnership (WCMHP) is a private, non-profit housing development corporation. WCMHP's organizational goal is to assist underserved communities to preserve, improve, and increase affordable housing for low-to moderate-income families and individuals.
- Western Area City/County Cooperative (WACCO)
W.A.C.C.O. is a government cooperative consisting of 27 city and 10 county governments in West Central Minnesota. It was formed in 1993 to share equipment, as well as, to cut costs through cooperative purchasing and regional training. The W.A.C.C.O. staff is the coordinators for the project, with requests for training and cooperative purchases coming from city and county staff.
