Description: Management
Assistance Grants through West Central Initiative are designed
to help nonprofit organizations overcome management and
governance issues that limit their effectiveness or threaten
their viability. Application for management assistance
grants is by invitation only.
Eligible Applicants: 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organizations headquartered and operating within
the nine counties of west central Minnesota.
Restrictions: WCI
will not support management assistance projects for organizations
whose programs are focused on the following issues:
- Arts, culture, or history
- Sports or recreation
- Religion
- Lobbying or political activities
Amounts Available: The
maximum award is generally $2,500.
Deadlines: Applications
are accepted continuously. Decisions are typically made within
three weeks.
