It Painted is a program where local governments and nonprofit
organizations in WCI's nine county service area may apply to
receive paint, stain or other products provided by Minneapolis-based
Valspar Corporation to complete various restoration and beautification
projects.
Eligible Applicants: 501(c)(3)
nonprofit and units of government.
Restrictions:
- Denominational churches
- Typical city maintenance projects
- Privately owned facilities that do
not provide a public benefit
Amounts Available: No
initial limits are set on product amounts for any one project.
Valspar determines each fiscal year the total amount of
products they are able to grant on a statewide basis. Projects
are awarded based on meeting the criteria as well as product
availability.
Deadlines: Applications
are available through WCI annually in January and are due
March 1. Decisions are typically made by mid-March.
